LAB of ferroelectrics

The lab of ferroelectrics was organized in 1965. The main direction of activity is related to obtaining and research ferroelectric and related materials (ferroelastics, HTSC, relaxors, piezoceramics, composites etc.)

For years of the existence of lab using results of the conducted studies 343 articlesin the scientific journals were published, 462 reports at the International and Russian conferences (with the publication of the abstracts) were made, 18 copyright certificates and 5 patents for new materials were obtained. The employees of lab defended 3 doctoral and 22 candidate thesises. It is possible to consider, that in lab the highly qualified scientific team which is capable at a high level to decide modern problems of physical materials science and technology is formed. Lab participates activly in different grants.

The young explorers pass training and carry out joint researches at foreign universities. So the post-graduate students S.A. Fadeev and S.V. Popov, and also student K.S. Drozhdin drove training in Halle university (Germany), senior researcher O.N. Ivanov made his investigations in Trondheim university (Netherlands) and Hiroshima university (Japan).

Young researches participation in competitions.

  1. The post-graduate students S.A. Kravchenko, A.V. Biryukov and E.V. Ukhin had the stipends of the President of Russian Federation.
  2. The post-graduate students S.A. Fadeev, S.A. Kravchenko and V.V. Shmykov were the winners of competition of the young scientists held by the Voronezh regional administration in 1997. The post-graduate students S.V. Popov, A.N. Tsotsorin and A.A. Khodorov were the winners of the same competition for 1998.
